MIR3 and BPSI Team to Deliver Complete Automated BC/DR Planning and Emergency Notification Solution

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Partnership provides one-stop solution for disaster planning/notification; increases BPSI competitive edge, extends MIR3’s reach into global markets

Las Vegas – May 23, 2006 – MIR3™ and Business Protection Systems International (BPSI) announced a partnership agreement at CPM West today. Under the agreement, BPSI will connect its Business Protector (BP) Gateway™ application with MIR3’s Intelligent Notification™ platform.

The simple, seamless automated solution is being used for the many activities related to business continuity/disaster recovery (BC/DR), including BC planning, program training, testing and maintenance; emergency notification and response; compliance-oriented reporting; and quality management. The MIR3 Intelligent Notification platform directly imports contact information from the BP Gateway database to quickly and effectively send alerts and gather responses when a critical event occurs.

MIR3 and BPSI are demonstrating their combined solution at CPM West Booths 123 and 125 on May 23 through May 25.

BPSI, headquartered in Riverside, Calif. and London, UK, provides technology solutions for the development of business continuity and risk management plans and programs. Its scalable Business Protector (BP) Gateway application collects and manages business continuity-related information with online help that guides organizations as they develop BC plans and educate recovery team members.

The MIR3 Intelligent Notification platform brings BPSI’s customers the added ability to quickly deliver critical voice or text messages to and from any communication device, including land lines, mobile phones, satellite phones, fax machines, PDAs, Blackberry devices, SMS, email and pagers. When an event occurs that threatens the organization’s business continuity, the two-way, interactive notification capabilities of MIR3 Intelligent Notification allow recipients throughout all enterprise sectors and sites to acknowledge and confirm receipt of a message and indicate that appropriate actions are being taken. MIR3 Intelligent Notification can also be used to automatically deliver non-emergency messages throughout an enterprise, for example, general information about the BC plan itself.

“MIR3’s Intelligent Notification platform was built on the best technology there is,” said Richard Cooper, executive vice president and co-founder of BPSI. “Its client-driven approach closely matches our goal of providing software that is simple to use, scalable and easily customized. By joining forces with MIR3 we are significantly enhancing both organizations’ products and providing our customers a comprehensive, single-vendor solution that meets all their BC/DR planning and response needs based on best-of-breed technology.”

According to Groff Bittner, Senior Prodict Manager at MIR3, “For ease of use and the fastest response possible, notification tools must become an integral part of any business continuity or disaster recovery program. We’re pleased to partner with BPSI in bringing automated notification to their product suite and to BPSI’s customers both here and abroad.”
